A Song For Swans is now on the back burner...
Yes I know I said I wouldn't give up, but well, it's not the one. Although thematically and storyline-wise, it's my favorite. So rich in characters and passion, the writing isn't there yet.
So I just need to keep writing as much as I can.
So it's with great happiness I can announce for the first time in two years, I have broken from writer's block.
With my new project tentatively titled "One Midnight Evening," it's sure to be interesting.
I put up a tidbit intro on the home page. Check it!
I'm entertaining a few different ideas right now. Sometime soon, one will be better than the rest... and I'll know my next work.
Weebly tells me that this site is reaching anywhere from 15-40 people a day. Really?
As far as A Song For Swans is concerned- it is now my primary focus.
I've spent countless hours writing and editing it and have gotten it to the point where I am fully happy with it.
So it's with strong determination that I announce that I am now looking for a literary agent.
Independent publishing is fun, it's easy and cheap. Who can say no to seeing their work in print?
However, I've been writing since I was six years old and I was meant to be more than a writer that is read by twenty people.
So I am looking for an agency who believes in my work and will push it as far as possible.
I'm not the next Koontz or Patterson; but I will not give up until my words are heard, until my words are read.
It will happen.
- Thank you to the people who've bought my previous books in the past, you've helped me reach the end of this chapter of my career, and enter the next.
I apologize for being so absent as of late.
I didn't even realize that it had been 3 months.
I want to let everyone know that I am working on stuff, including working on a new book ever so slowly; but more importantly- I'm not done with A Song For Swans.
On January 30th, I wrote that the idea for a new book was coming. I knew it was coming ever so slowly to me.
42 days later, I can happily announced I have officially began writing a new book.
It will be like nothing I've ever written before.Think Inception meets post apocalyptic world.
February 28 @ Irvin's Books on White St. in York, Pa.
More info on the "Signing's" page.
Although A Song For Swans is only a few months old- the writing of it had ended over a year ago- roughly December of 2011. All since had been hard editing and such.
For months I've been trying to come up with ideas for a new book.
While I haven't found it yet, it is indeed getting close.
In the meantime, I will continue to do signings and promote my latest creation.
I'm currently working on a special hardcover version of A Song For Swans.
It will contain both ASFS and Four Hours, I've titled "The Blood Chronicles."
Both books focus about finding what's important in life in times of dying. They both serve the same purpose, but are just different in stories and length.
If you've had the pleasure of reading my newest book, it would be greatly appreciated if you could write a few thoughts in a review on Amazon!
